The MS 120 pétanque boules are a triplette designed primarily for shooters, and occasionally for middle players. This model offers noticeably better shooting performance than pointing ability.
The MS 120 is a 100% Made in France product. It is the most affordable competition boule from MS Pétanque. While it’s considered an entry-level model, this semi-soft triplette still delivers solid quality. Each boule is manufactured with precision balancing, accurate to within ±1 gram.
The carbon steel composition provides excellent grip and handling. The MS 120 boule also demonstrates strong versatility, making it suitable for all types of terrain and playing styles, with a slight preference for shooting.
Color : Grey
Material : Carbon alloy steel
Hardness : Semi-soft (120 kg/mm²)
Diameter : From 72 mm to 76 mm
Weight : From 680 g to 720 g
Warranty : 2 years
The MS 120 boules are approved by the FFPJP, making them competition-legal. However, they are only available in the smooth version (strie 0).
Proper maintenance helps extend the lifespan of your pétanque boules. Since the MS 120 is made of carbon steel, it is prone to oxidation. To prevent rust formation, always wipe your boules with a cloth after use.
After removing any dust, wash your boule with soapy water and let it dry completely. Once dry, apply a thin layer of oil. If you don’t have a specialized cleaning solution, petroleum jelly (Vaseline) can work just as well.
Avoid leaving your boules in the trunk of your car, where temperature fluctuations cause condensation. Prolonged humidity may lead to oxidation and damage the boules over time.
We recommend storing them indoors, in a dry location, to best preserve their quality.
