Since the carbon steel used in this boule is prone to oxidation, it’s important to maintain it regularly. After each game, use a cleaning cloth to remove dust and dirt. Then wash the boule with water and Marseille soap. Once fully dry, apply a thin layer of maintenance oil, gun oil, or petroleum jelly to protect it.
