Oddeka is a very recent brand in the world of petanque. That’s why only two triplette models have been developed so far. The Oddeka Zeus Carbone is one of them. With its very soft hardness, this boule is primarily intended for shooters or pointers playing on rough terrains. It’s also an excellent choice for high-lob pointing.
The Oddeka Zeus Carbone benefits from 100% French craftsmanship. Its modern manufacturing process results in low rebound, which is highly valued for shooting. It offers excellent performance on rough or gravelly petanque grounds. The balance of this boule is also outstanding.
Beyond technical design, it is made with high-grade carbon steel, resulting in a very soft boule often compared to 'butter' in terms of feel and impact absorption.

The Oddeka Zeus Carbone is approved by the FFPJP (French Petanque Federation). Each boule comes with a black protective varnish. If you prefer a natural finish, soak each boule in Coca-Cola for 10 minutes to remove the coating and reveal the raw carbon steel underneath.
Like all carbon steel boules, the Oddeka Zeus Carbone can oxidize. To prevent rust:
Wipe down each boule with a soft cloth after each game.
If you wash them, make sure they are completely dry before storing them.
Applying a thin layer of oil or grease is also recommended to preserve their condition and shine.
