The Toro Inox Grooved boule is ideal for regular pétanque players or licensed competitors looking for a versatile triplette. With its half-soft hardness, it suits both pointers and occasional shooters. Its unique “tennis ball” style groove ensures a better grip in hand. This makes it a perfect choice for pétanque players who enjoy clear impact sensations and solid control, no matter their position on the terrain.
This stainless steel pétanque boule offers an excellent balance between durability, playing feel, and performance on the boulodrome. Its half-soft hardness (120 kg/mm²) absorbs shocks effectively, reducing bounce-back when shooting while keeping good reactivity on impact. As a result, it allows for accurate shooting and increases the chances of achieving clean carreaux. On the pointing side, the boule still delivers strong feedback for enhanced efficiency.
The shot-peened grey finish provides reliable grip, even on dusty or humid terrains. In terms of balance, the Toro Inox Grooved boule delivers a consistent and stable trajectory, which is crucial for players aiming for precision. The raised “tennis ball” style groove enhances grip, making a real difference during long pétanque matches. This feature is also appreciated during summer games, when heat and sweat can affect playing sensations. In short, this Toro Petank triplette is reliable, comfortable to play, and durable over time.
This competition boule is approved by the FIPJP (International Federation of Pétanque and Provençal Game), meaning it can be used in interclub tournaments, departmental competitions, or even National pétanque events.
Shipping is carried out within 24 hours, subject to stock availability. Each set of Toro Inox Grooved boules comes with a boxwood jack and a chamois cloth included.
The Toro Inox model does not rust, making maintenance simple. After each pétanque game, wipe the stainless steel boules with a clean cloth to remove dust and moisture. From time to time, wash them with soapy water, then dry carefully to keep them in excellent condition.
Although made of inox, applying a thin layer of fine oil occasionally will enhance the shine of the shot-peened finish. This helps extend the surface’s lifespan while maintaining optimal grip.
